What a terrific Tuesday!

Wednesday 25th February
We have had a wonderful Wednesday in Wales. Mr Mitchell and Mr Ashton's group, accompanied by their instructor, paddled across the largest natural lake in Wales then sailed back after a picnic lunch. During the afternoon, they scrambled up a gorge before returning for a hot chocolate.
Mrs Barlow's group accompanied by their instructor, had a brilliant time on the beach. As well as enjoying a 'sandwich' picnic, they had a go at rock climbing, rock pool exploring and playing team games.
Miss Hancox and her group accompanied by their instructor, hiked up a slate clad hill before exploring an undergroundmine and river and enjoying a picnic by candlelight.
Following on from the exciting activities, after a warm shower, everyone enjoyed a 3 course dinner which was delicious.
The day was rounded off with tea games before bed.
Thursday 26th February
"What a terrific Thursday when the Welsh weather could not dampen our spirits or excitement.
We had a rotation of the activities today with Mr Mitchell and Mr Ashton’s group exploring a mine and Mrs Barlow and Miss Hancox’s groups enjoying canoeing and gorge scrambling.
Dinner tonight continued to be delicious and comprised of pizza, wedges and beans with chocolate sponge and sauce for pudding.
We have spent the evening packing (ready for returning tomorrow) followed by downtime before bed.
We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow afternoon. As previously advised, our eta is 4.30pm at school.”
