Meet Our Staff

Hi my name is Kiran and I have a teaching assistant level 2 qualification and recently achieved my level 3 in Early years child care. I love working with children and helping them with their development and watching them grow. It’s a great sense of achievement seeing them progress further into the school. I have two children of my own, my eldest is at Woodloes School, he attended Saplings preschool and I believe it gave him a very good start for school.

Hi I'm Kath Smith, I have been a part of the Saplings team for six years, I thoroughly enjoy working in the relaxed and stimulating environment of Saplings and its lovely to be able to see the children as they progress through the school. I gained my NNEB diploma eighteen years ago and have lots of experience in working in child care also having two children at Woodloes myself.
I studied for my Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Learning and Development when my son went to pre-school.  He's now 15 and I've been working in pre-schools and nurseries ever since.  I find it very rewarding and love working with pre-school children as they make me laugh every day!
Hi, I'm Zoe Smith. I am working full time in Saplings and have a level 3 in Early Years and have worked in childcare for 14 years. I have two girls, both attending Woodloes school. I love working with children, helping them to gain confidence and become more independent. I also enjoy engaging them in a variety of activities that we provide at Saplings each day.
I have an NVQ level 3 in children's care, learning and development and over 15 years experience in working with young children. Childcare is a passion of mine as I love watching children develop and grow as well as being part of their early years education. I have a child of my own, who now attends Woodloes school and previously attended Saplings. I found this to be very beneficial as he gained great confidence and progressed well, ready for school.
My name is Saule French. I have been working in Early Years for many years. I find it incredibly rewarding helping children open doors into new experiences about the world in a creative manner and filled with fun activities. I love seeing children’s faces lighting up when they learned something new, as I feel very much the same when I learn new things myself. I have the NVQ Level 3 Early Years qualification and I am currently studying at the Open University.
