The Family Information Service (FIS)
 
The Family Information Service (FIS) is a helpful friendly service which supports families with a wide range of needs including childcare, finance, housing, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and family relationships.  Not sure who can help? give the team a call, and they can offer advice and support.
 
They are available every Monday to Friday (except bank holidays)  9am to 5pm by phone 01926 742274 or email fis@warwickshire.gov.uk.  You can also message on Facebook WarwickshireFIS.  
Remember FIS are available when school is closed over the summer break, so please don't hesitate to contact them if you need any sort of support.
Virtual Changemakers Workshops are available now for parents of children in Reception and Y6.
The workshops and programme will cover healthy lifestyle topics including eat well guide, portion sizes and physical activity.

The Warwickshire School Health and Wellbeing Service is still here to provide support even if this may be given in a different way to usual! 
 

• Parents/carers can call the service on 03300 245 204 or text Parentline on 07520 619 376.

• Young people aged 11-19 can text ChatHealth on 07507 331 525 (see attached for ChatHealth poster).

• These services are available Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-4.30pm.

Parent Line -Text messaging service

 

Parents/Carers can text a school nurse from their mobile phone.  ChatHealth, the school nurse messaging service, is confidential and available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.  You can message for advice about general health, child development, behaviour, toileting and emotional health and wellbeing.

Free Access to Fitter Future Fitness & Mindfuless Support
Available for Primary Schools & parents to support
learning through the school closures

SAS are excited to share free Fitter Future fitness & mindfulness resources with primary schools across the country. 

Fitter Future have shared access codes with SAS to share with schools to help with resources to support primary school learning. These codes are available for school staff or parents / guardians to use throughout the school closure period.
Fitter Future works to 
 
  • fight childhood obesity
  • improve pupil mental wellbeing
  • increase concentration
  • decrease behavioural issues

Easter Food Parcels
 
Woodloes Primary School would like to say a huge thank you to all at Messy Church, especially Stacey, for providing Easter food parcels for a number of our families. All of the parcels were received with thanks.Mrs Stevens, Mrs Barlow and Mrs Furlong enjoyed distributing these Easter treats and wishing our families a very happy Easter.
