Mr Andy Mitchell
Head Teacher and responsible for performance and standards
Andy has been a head teacher for 13 years, is a Local Leader of Education and a head teacher mentor. He believes passionately, that every child can succeed with the right level of challenge, support and determination. He is very committed to system leadership and collaboration and has recently been responsible for successfully opening the new Heathcote Primary School on behalf of the Community Academies Trust. This was a fantastic project to be involved with and he is very excited to see how this new school community will develop in the years to come.
When he is not in school he likes to climb mountains and has done the Three Peaks Challenge. He also enjoys cycling and completed the first stage of the Tour de France course in Yorkshire.
Mrs Jane Moore
Deputy Head and Designated Safeguarding Lead
Jane enjoys holidays abroad and walking in the Lake District and Wales with her husband. She is responsible for organising the year 5 trip to Marle Hall, where she loves getting involved in gorge scrambling , rock climbing and canoeing with the children.

Mrs Sian Stevens
EYFS Leader and teacher in Reception
Sian enjoys music and plays the flute. As a teenager, she swam for Warwickshire county and now enjoys swimming and keep fit. She enjoys spending time with her family.
Miss Natalie Lyons
Class teacher in Reception.
Miss Lyons enjoys travelling to new places, going to the cinema and singing along to the latest music (some might say out of tune!) She loves anything that makes her laugh - especially her own jokes!

Mrs Sunny Khaira
Key Stage 1 Phase Leader and Year 1 class teacher
Mrs Khaira teaches in Year 1 and is also the Key Stage 1 Phase Leader. She enjoys keeping fit, reading books and listening to all sorts of music. Mrs Khaira has a pet gerbil called Toffee who is always up to mischief! The school have recently been given a Food For Life bronze award based around the work achieved by Mrs Khaira.
Mrs Khaira enjoys spending time with her family and playing board games such as Trivial Pursuit where she is determined to beat her son one day!
Mrs Annette Eldridge
Class Teacher in Year 1
Mrs Eldridge is very excited to be continuing in year 1 this year and she is also looking forward to taking part in different musical activities with the older children in the school. At home she loves being with her family and walking her dog called Coco. To relax, she enjoys reading, especially books about history and art and listening to all kinds of music. She has to admit too that she is a big Dr Who fan!
Miss Bethany List
Class Teacher in Year 2.
Miss List works in year two alongside Mrs Bailey. She is the PSHE coordinator and leads the school council team. She enjoys keeping fit, listening to relaxing music and reading. Her favourite books are the Harry Potter selection. She especially enjoys training her class hamster Bobby (with little success!). She also likes eating out as much as possible. Especially with Mrs Bailey!
Mrs Sophie Bailey
Class Teacher in Year 2
Mrs Bailey teaches in Year 2 alongside Miss List. Her class, 2B, have recently gained a new pet hamster called Binky and Mrs Bailey is loving spoiling the hamster with fruity treats and pretty things for her cage! In her spare time, she enjoys reading, going for long walks around Kenilworth Castle (you can see it from her lounge window!) and eating out. Especially with Miss List!

Mrs Helen May
Mrs May teachers in Year 3 from Monday to Wednesday and job shares with Mrs Lambert. They also share the roles of Middle Phase Leader and English Coordinator.
Mrs May loves to be creative both inside and outside the classroom and enjoys putting up eye catching displays that centre around the wonderful work the children produce in class. Her favourite topics are Stone Age Boy and Leon And The Place Between which is based in a circus.
In her spare time, Mrs May loves to experiment with interior design and enjoys up-cycling second hand furniture.
Mrs Tina Lambert
Year 3 Class Teacher, Phase Team Leader in Year 3/4 and English coordinator
Mrs Lambert works part time and is currently job sharing in Year 3 with Mrs May. She enjoys cycling, walking and camping (preferably glamping) with her family.
Miss Claire Winstanley
Class teacher in Year 3.
Class teacher in year 3, Miss Winstanley is new to the school. Having grown up on a farm, she loves animals and enjoys going for long walks in the countryside. In her spare time she likes playing the saxophone and coaching Tae Kwon Do.
Ms Justine Valentine
Class teacher and DT co ordinator
When not teaching, Ms Valentine enjoys spending time with her son Jack, close friends and family. Often found dancing around the kitchen to anything from the 90's, watching a jolly good film or giggling in the garden with her mum! Huge animal lover,Ms Valentine is often found on long walks where she can fuss a dog or two!
Mrs Alison Skirvin
Year 4 Class Teacher, Assessment Coordinator and Higher Achievers Coordinator
Mrs Skirvin teaches in Year 4 from Monday to Thursday, with Mrs Moss teaching their class on a Friday. She enjoys hiking up mountains, particularly when there are good views. Mrs Skirvin is also a keen swimmer and she regularly competes in Masters galas.
Mrs Wenna Moss
Year 4 Class Teacher and Arts coordinator
Mrs Moss enjoys spending time with her family and in her spare time she enjoys painting, reading and playing music. Wenna also enjoys the odd ice-cream!
Mr Matthew Clark
Year 5 Class Teacher, PE Coordinator.
Mr Clark was a junior international athlete and can boast to having once being the fastest 15 year old in the UK. He is passionate about sport and health and having a good time inside and outside of the classroom.
Miss Sarah Evans
Year 5 Class Teacher and PE coordinator
Miss Evans is back! Sarah loves Woodloes so much that she had to return and we are delighted that she has re-joined our permanent teaching team.
Mrs Sarah Burnard
Year 6 Class Teacher, Online Safety and Computing Co-ordinator
Mrs Burnard loves to get engrossed in a good book, particularly whilst enjoying a sunny holiday with her family. She loves to visit different European cities; her favourite so far is Budapest. Since taking part in the overnight marathon Moonwalk in May 2016, she has taken up running and enjoyed the Pretty Muddy Race, has become an Alpha Wolf in the seasonal Wolfruns and is building up to a half marathon.
Mrs Sarah Barlow
Upper Phase Leader and Maths Coordinator
Mrs Barlow enjoys visiting family in Dubai and Koh Samui. As well as being an avid Nottingham Forest supporter, in her spare time, she also enjoys reading, swimming, cycling, cooking (but prefers to eat out!) and travelling. In May 2016, the Barlow family welcomed a new addition to their family...Ronald the hamster.
Mrs Nicola Andrews
Special Needs and Inclusion Manager
Mrs Andrews works Monday to Wednesdays co-ordinating special needs across the school. She has recently successfully completed her Special Needs degree and is particulary interested in children's social, emotional and mental health. Out of work, Mrs Andrews loves running, going to the gym and muddy obstacle courses.
Mrs Jas Madan
Mrs Madan has just returned from maternity leave and is working across the school for three days per week. She enjoys spending time with her family and baking with the children. She also likes yoga and going to the theatre.
Mr Keir Mitchell
Forest Schools. An experienced teacher, Keir now runs the all-age forest school programme at Woodloes. He has published articles on his work and prides himself on the levels of personal responsibility, safety, self-fulfilment and social development that the children are able to achieve through child initiated learning in the sessions and the consequent benefits to their self esteem and future well email@example.com
